With Blood Moon, Megan Hawke presents us with a fast-paced, action-packed, intricate, sexy story. I’ve not read any of the previous four books in this series, but that didn’t cause me any problem or prevent me from enjoying this book thoroughly. I found it easy to catch up as I went along. Hawke gave me all the information I needed – and a few tantalizing tidbits that makes me want to go back and find out just what happened in her previous entries.Sable Hart and her little band of Vampire Hunters find themselves tackling a case that might just become too big for them. With the werewolf packs, the Vampire Council, a few witches, some zombies, and more than a few police wanting a piece of Sable – and not all in a good way – she must find and stake the vampires behind a string of werewolf murders before war breaks out between the werewolves and vampires, turning Dallas into a mass-casualty zone.
To delay the onset of the war, Sable must ask for favours she dreads having to repay – one which may cost her her life, another her freedom. And even that may not be enough. But even for the undead, Sable is a tough cookie, and fights her way through obstacles that would fell a lesser vampire, to face the enemy in a final, climactic showdown.
It's a fun, sexy read.

I've read all the books in this series. I've enjoyed reading this series. Looking forward to the next installment. Surprised there aren't more reviews.
Although this isn't the first series I've read where a vampire hunter is turned and stays true to their cause, I enjoy this one the most. I usually end up reading each story cover to cover in one sitting. The series is fun and inventive with plenty of surprises along the way.,
